April Blog Challenge: G is for Giants

I'm not sure I've ever made my stance on my favorite baseball team on my blog . . . oh wait, I probably did when they won the World Series in 2010. Because I think they played against my dear friend, Jewels' team and I think some good fun trash talk was issued between me and her and our teams.

Well, I am a Giants fan, all the way. I watched the playoffs against the Phillies, and watched the World Series. I was on the edge of my seat. I was ecstatic. To say the least.

My man Buster Posey knew it instantly - WE WON!!!

My Uncle's company used to have 4 seats on the 3rd baseline that he'd give to us if his name was drawn. Unfortunately, once the economy went south, the company gave up said seats. It also gave up it's box at the A's stadium. Construction company . . .

How do you not love seats like this?! Or not love a gorgeous day in SF???

Getting my farmer's tan on in the big city.

Anyway, we didn't go to tons of games, but we went to one every now and then and they are always good fun. If you ever want the bestest garlic fries ever, just trot on over to the Giants stadium, because that's where they are.

I love the atmosphere of the game in person. Even if they lose, you still had fun rooting for your team and chatting with the folks ya came with. Plus everyone wants to see a player hit a Splash home run in the bay. I haven't seen on in person yet, but I'm sure someday. Maybe. Just maybe.

AT&T Park in San Francisco

Day or night, baseball games are always a good time. Although expensive anymore. And if you don't mind getting lost trying to get out of San Francisco . . . you can always get in but getting out always seems to be a bit problematic. I'm thinking they did that on purpose.

My BFF's very first MLB game!
