1. What's one thing you learned in September?
Oh, it's definitely way more than one thing! lol I started a new job on the 16th of September, so I've been learning lots in the auto industry. How to do their deposits (they are rather particular, understandably), how to do dealer trades (we don't have what you want? we'll get it for you!), clearing my "cash sales schedule" (reconciling outstanding debits/credits), logging in driver sheets (someone has to drive the cars for dealer trades), wholesales, and cutting checks when needed. And that's just the beginning! I'm only in my third week and my head is spinning. I have a lot more to learn. And I have a lot to keep organized. And our desks are really small.
2. Acorn squash, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, yellow squash,
zucchini squash, or blech! hold the squash... what's your favorite
squash? What's your favorite way to prepare your favorite squash?
Blech! Hold the squash! I have yet to learn to like it. Much to Boyfriend and Mother's dismay.
3. The older I get the_______________________________.
. . . more I see my mother in me! It's scary and comforting all at the same time.
4. What's your favorite television theme song ever?
Psych. Also one of my favoritest TV shows. Ever.
5. What do you wish you'd spent more time doing five years ago?
Having fun. I worked a lot. The worst part was that it was graveyard, which didn't help much. But I volunteered as well. But really, I was working a lot.
6. What item do you most need (or want) to add to your wardrobe this fall?
6. What item do you most need (or want) to add to your wardrobe this fall?
Well, my new job is "business casual", so I could use a few more tops than the few I bought before starting my job. Plus, I really need black and brown socks. And I could use a couple sweaters that aren't black (because it can get quite chilly in the office.
7. On October 2, 1950 the Peanuts cartoon was introduced to the world. What was your favorite cartoon when you were a kid?
Charlie Brown. My Granddad gave me the nickname of Charlie Brown when I was a baby and it stuck. So, Peanuts will always hold a special place in my heart. But Snoopy is pretty awesome, too.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
I've already got a list going for Christmas presents. I will be on a very strict budget and presents will have to be on the cheaper side of things, but I've got ideas. And usually I don't until December. So, I'm well ahead of myself. And if I can, I'm going to buy USA Made. It's a challenge for myself. :)
