Just a few goals for 2013

Lost in translation?

So, now that the world didn't end on the 21st, (complete shocker, I know), that means I should come up with those pesky New Year's Resolutions. Well, since most people fail miserably at most of their resolutions I don't think I will actually make resolutions. Instead I will have goals. Goals that aren't unattainable. So here are a few goals I would like to meet in 2013:

1. See my friends more often.

2. Meet new people.

3. I'd like to hike the Whiskeytown Falls - I think there are a few of them.

4. Take a Zumba class.

5. Find something local to volunteer for.

6. Take a little trip to some place I haven't been before.

7. If possible, buy stuff that's made in the USA.

8. Join a book club.

A simple list of goals. Yet, if I meet them, it will get me out of the house, see my friends, meet new people and have fun.

  1. I read these too late. I thought that said "take zombie classes".

  4. Zumba is AWESOME!! You'll love it. :) #7 was my last year's goal... it's still on going, but my whole kitchen set came from NC. My goal is to stick with the running... 23 pounds only 26 more to go. :)

    1. I hear Zumba is a lot of fun. People also speak of "bring your sweat rags", which is a bit frightening. lol

    2. Um, yes... you won't sit without making old lady muscle aching noises for a week. :) Honestly though, after three classes I was walking straighter and could feel my core strengthening. Best part? Abs are done standing up, so it doesn't hurt your back or your neck. :)

  5. Tis about time I make my own goals too! I think I'd buy a zumba dvd before joining a class for the exact same reason depicted in that pic lol!

  7. We've a friend out in Oregon who swears by Zumba, but she does it in her home with a DVD.

I don't like 'resolutions', either. Goals are much better! :-) Good luck with yours!
