Wednesday Hodgepodge

It's Wednesday, which means it's Hodgepodge day! Go link up with Joyce and join in!

1. What creeps you out?

Sparkly vampires. ;o)  Bugs that go crunch. Any guy who comes up to me in a bar saying he has a "dog that is lonely". . . . seriously.

2. What's your least favorite candy?

Anything with coconut or almonds. It just ruins the candy, really.

3. Are you a fan of scary movies?  What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?

I do like scary movies, although I don't watch them very often and when I do, I try not to watch with the lights out. Paranormal Activity scared the shit out of me. I had to sleep with the light on. Took me two years to work up to watching the second one and the same thing happened. I figure someday I'll get to the third and fourth ones. Someday.

4. What part of life confuses you the most?

Everything. lol No, really, there's just too much to write down here. Y'all would be reading for a month if I started.

5. Pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, poppy...what's your favorite seed?

I don't typically eat just seeds, although pumpkin seeds are pretty good. I do like a good poppy seed muffin.

6. Imagine your life ten years from today...what's changed?

Hmmm. Ten years from now? Oh I have no idea. I hope I'll finally be married and have started a family, have a house and a dog. And I imagine myself marrying a nice guy who just so happens to be fairly well off so that I may live in the life that I should already be accustomed.  ;o)

7.  What do you a) love the most and b) like the least about the Hodgepodge?

Well, I'm still new to this but A) It's interesting to find out more about other bloggers and B) I have to think of answers to the questions! lol (j/k)

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

I now know what it feels like to mop 8,000 square feet. Because I mopped it. And trust me when I say, it's not all that fun.

  1. We are on the same wave with the candy. Coconut...yuck!
I hope you meet Mr. Right and have the perfect little family. Nothing is more amazing than becoming a mother.
8,000 square feet of mopping...Wow!! I'd hate to have to do that every week.

    1. Well, I'm hoping that it will be split in half by a couple of people so one person doesn't have to do it each time. I'm not afraid of working hard and breaking a sweat, but WOW. That's just too much for one person.

  2. You're braver than I am. I won't even try to watch a scary movie.

    1. LOL Some just aren't that scary to me. But Paranormal Activity really freaked me out. It still does.

    1. It just ruins it! If I wind up with Hershey kisses with almonds, I suck on the chocolate and spit the nut out. LOL If I'm alone, that is.

  5. I'm tired just thinking about mopping 8,000 square feet.

  6. Totally agree with your answer to #1 - seriously, WHO would be Team Edward over Team Joseph? Sparkly vampires... ewww. Bugs - no explanation needed. And, really? Guys can be such dweebs sometimes. Have a good day!

    1. I thought it was Team Jacob? Oh what do I know...I've never read or seen it. LOL It could be Team Buckwheat for all I know! LOL Still better than a vampire, though! And yes, some older guy actually came up to me and said that. I was floored.

2.Couldn't agree with you more! Keep that crap outta my chocolate!
    3.Dislike scary movies.
4.Probably the thing we have to take on Faith.
5.Sesame. And keep those damn caraway seeds away!!!!

  8. Mopping 8000 square feet doesn't sound fun either. I'm not a fan of mopping but I'd just as soon mop than vacuum. Not sure why since they're not that different, but there you go. And I agree, there is much about life to confuse me too. :)

  9. Sorry to say, but Almond Joy is one of my favorite candy bars because of the coconut and almond combination. YUM!

  11. I think the most frustrating thing about Hodge Podge, after making time to read as many f the other blogs as a I can, is when I think of a better answer than I gave for one of the questions!

LOL to #4,,,but probably a good answer for me too!

  12. 100% agree with you on the candy - Mounds and Almond Joys pretty much went in to the trash after trick or treating. yuck! I hope you find your handsome, well off man in the next 10 years ;)

  13. Oooh, Hodge Podge Wednesday! I didn't know about this!!! Of course, with an internet connection that refuses to behave and a schedule that insists on driving me crazy, my chances of finding out about it are greatly diminished...until NOW!

Yeah, everything about life confuses me too. And I'm with CW Martin--ZOMBIES! Ergggggg and eeeeeek!

P.S. Thank you again for the award--I put it up today, for Halloween. :)

  14. Sparkly vampires, hahaha! Good answer! I didn't care for the Paranormal movies because they are scary, but also because the camera jumps all over the place. I feel like I get motion sickness watching it.

    1. LOL Definitely not a Twilight fan here! ;o) Yeah the jumpy camera thing is really annoying, a lot of movies are going to that. I understand that they're trying to make it "realistic" but it can seriously give people motion sickness. I nearly needed a Dramamine for The Hunger Games! LOL
