Oy Ve.

Dr. J gave me his cold.
I have a headache.
My throat hurts from talking while training the newbie for the last two weeks.
I still have lots of packing to do.
I move one week from today.
And . . .
I'm tired.
Just had to complain.
Good news? I'm finally caught up on blog reading. :o)

  1. Before popping over to the blog roll I had typed this into my face book status...

"I'm sorry, I must have missed the memo on how I am now in charge of everything on the frickin' planet. It must have come in fight before the memo that says why I'm supposed to give a sh!t"

And then I deleted it. Sadly, I don't need everyone in on my day to day happening... but yeah, right there with ya.

    Feel better.

  2. OH! And your post office suggestion... I agree, it would save a ton of money. However, closing the PO on Saturdays would put about 100,000 people out of work. With a 5 day work week, there would be no need for most of the relief day carriers...

There are far more places they can cut money from than forcing lay offs. And closing PO's or reducing hours is one of them. Currently we have 7 PO's in our town, and two additional ones that are their own PO's. We could easily go down to two and not lose one job. Getting out of the leases on those buildings though is an entirely different story. OH, and remember, anything the PO does has to be approved by Congress. And we all know how great they are at instituting a budget.

    1. Yes, congress is great at the budget. *rolls eyes* the city I'm moving I'm moving to is losing a post office/sorting center. Kinda sucks because its a nice PO, too.
