Alright! I have no idea what the hell was wrong with Blogger yesterday that the picture uploader wouldn't work at all. But, it's working today, so for my Half-Ass Weekend Post (Thanks to the All Powerful Simple Dude!), so I will post my pictures of my shitscapade from yesterday.
Since I know you all enjoyed the story of my faceplant in the cow mudshit that I wrote yesterday, I know you will enjoy the pictures. Now, I must remind you that there are no pictures of my sorry ass kneeling/sitting in this wonderful mixture of cow shit and mud that was basically quicksand as we were concerned about getting all of the bulls out of the pen that I was trapped in and getting me out of the mudshit with all my limbs (and boots) attached.
This is the shitmud I was stuck in. We're talking nearly two feet deep and it sucks you in. Literally.
Me in all my muddy glory. I'm just glad my grandfather didn't ask for the shot of my derriere.
Up close of my boots. Which are supposed to be black. The mud was as tall as my boots, then I had to kneel in it until rescued.
I had to wash off the boots before I could go into mudroom to change out of my shitty clothes.
So, there you have it. Photo evidence of my little shitscapade.
Y'all can run along now and be ever so thankful that you don't have shitmud to contend with. Have a lovely weekend!
Oh goodness. That's just not right. I still wish there had been a shot of you actually stuck in it. I can promise my family woul dhave left me there until a camera had been brought to the site. They are evil like that. Glad you were rescued! :)
ReplyDeleteThe hazards of spring thaw! Yuck!! I just found your blog tonight... will follow.
ReplyDeleteJewels - LOL I know, it's horrible. I'm actually surprised my grandfather didn't go to the house to get his camera. If he could move faster, I'm sure he would have! LOL
ReplyDeleteJenner - Thanks for stopping by and for following! I can hardly wait for summer so that the only mushy thing to fall into are the actual cow pies. LOL
How are the horses not sucked up into that quicksand.
ReplyDeleteYes, it looks very poopy and muddy! Yuck!
ReplyDeleteDrake - The horses pen doesn't look anything like that, actually. Just the cows. Probably because there is always more cows than horses in any given pen. Plus (normal) horse poop isn't runny like cow poop is.
ReplyDeleteBelle - It is! And yes, a big YUCK! lol
Oh you poor dear. LOL. I can't help but laugh and be grateful it's not me. Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteRita - That's quite alright, go ahead and laugh all you want! It is rather funny! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh no! Ugh, I feel so darn bad for you!!! That had to be really shi...um, really bad. ;)
ReplyDeleteIsn't there some saying that bird crap is good luck? So, maybe falling in cow dung is even better luck? Like 100x better??? I'm trying, here. :)
Frisky - HAHAHA! Thanks for trying, I appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteEwww, that muck looks like it is two feet deep! Even though you're bundled up, it sure looks cold. I would so not make it even half an hour doing what you're doing. I admire your fortitude and your sense of humor! Oh, and props to Grandad. I think I would like him. :-)
ReplyDeleteSoapbox - It had to be damn close to 2ft deep! And yes, it's pretty cold. But by the time I'm done, I'm sweating. lol
